After 11 years, four things will once again be seen in IPL 2022
The 15th edition of Indian Premier League is all set to kick start from March 26, this time all the matches will be played in Mumbai and Pune. The 65-day long tournament will have 70 matches this time. All the teams of IPL are busy in their preparations. Today we are going to talk about four things that will be seen after 11 years in IPL.
1. Australian wicket-keeper batsman Matthew Wade will be seen playing for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022 after 11 years. He played for Delhi Capitals in the 2011 IPL and feature in only three matches.
2. The first match of IPL 2022 will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders in the season opener on March 26. Earlier, both the teams had met in the first match of the 2011 IPL. Chennai had won the match by 12 runs. This time Chennai will once again give their best to win against Kolkata.
3. Just like IPL 2022, in 2011, two new teams Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Pune Warriors India joined the IPL. 10 teams participated in IPL 2011.
4. In IPL 2022, 10 teams have been divided into Group A and Group B, earlier this happened in 2011.
